Book Design for ‘Memórias do Sorvete’

”Memories of Sorvete” is a book that tells the company's history and celebrates this age-old food. The content was also extended to multiplatform versions on social networks, e-books, videos and events, in addition to winning two design awards.

To celebrate the brand's 70th anniversary, Siamo Studio produced this book, in a work that involved editorial design, reporting and editing. There were dozens of interviews in various cities across the country, photographic productions, illustrations and infographics, coordinated with studio partners. The content also extended to multiplatform versions on social networks, e-books and videos.

Selecta Sorvetes, the Duas Rodas brand, is the national market leader in the production of raw ingredients for edible ice cream. To celebrate the brand's 70-year trajectory, and show the sector's importance to the food industry, it was necessary to create original and comprehensive content for those who produce ice cream in Brazil.

 

The book "Memories of Sorvete" narrates the birth of the brand Selecta until its consolidation as market leader. But it goes further: through infographics and illustrations combined with reports, the work tells the story of ice cream in the world, shows its importance for the food industry, generating innovation and stimulating entrepreneurship, and indicates future trends in the sector. The photographic productions portray exclusive recipes, in addition to consumer and ice cream industry profiles. ​​​​​​​

 

“The Sorvete Memories Project was born from the intention of doing much more than commemorating the 70th anniversary of a successful brand, but leaving the legacy of those seven decades through a work that went beyond a simple record or recipes. I can say that the objective was surpassed, because today we have a literary work, a source of research for admirers or professionals in the ice cream segment, which still shows the saga of an example of entrepreneurship that today exercises national leadership, in addition to having a lot of people passionate about what she does and for this delicious world of ice cream. Siamo more than embraced the cause: it made this project come true with all its professionalism and dived heart and soul into exploring every detail, transforming the content in a dynamic, light, fun and very interesting way.
